Outdoor Hosts
You now have an opportunity to be part of a NEW MINISTRY at the LUMC...as an "Outdoor Host."
Statistics say that "new guests" visiting the LUMC for the first time will decide within the first 7 minutes of their arrival whether they will come back or not...and the first 30 seconds of that 7 minutes starts in the church parking lot.
That's why "Outdoor Hosts" are so important! A smile, a kind word or a firm handshake helps everyone feel a little more at ease.
Our "Outdoor Hosts" will help with parking cars and direct everyone into the NEW LUMC WELCOME CENTER and ....they will be the first smiling face that everyone sees.
On rainy Sundays, our "Outdoor Hosts" will have umbrellas to keep everyone dry. On cold and wintry Sundays, our "Outdoor Hosts" will assist everyone in the ice and snow.
