We Started the trip out friday after school. It took everyone of us to stuff 7 pillows, 7 blankets and 7 nap sacks in Laura's Durango. Not to mention the 30 some sandwiches, pop for the week-end, and a giant bag of chips that was so graciously donated by Rita Daulton. She was a blessing! Once we were all snug in the car we set out on our week-end adventure. As soon as we got there everyone was running around exploring the place. The excitement in that arena was explosive. They started a countdown as eveyone settled in and then BOOM!!! They started in with wonderful performances by Hawk Nelson, Natlie Grant, and Group1Crew. The speakers were awesome. Chad was a group favorite. He spoke about texting and how it effects the way teens talk to eachother. Sarah and Lydia got to get Jenna Lucado's signature, she was a speaker; and Darian, Erin, and Laura got Hawk Nelsons signature!! Awesome! Laura got hers for Diana. Melissa got Group1Crew's signature and being the wonderful sister she is gave it to her brother Steven. Everyone was able to take something away from this week-end. Friday night we stayed at the church with the purple doors. If you have never heard of it...Look it up. It was intresting. The whole week-end was tons of fun and we look forward to next year.
